Vi Subversa of Poison Girls, 1985
One of my punk heroines - she is feminist and anti-capitalist, and she was in her mid forties and a mother of two teenagers (also punks) when she formed the band in 1979.  The Poison Girls music isn’t really punk - but punk should be all aboout the attitude anyway.  I have to thank my girlfriend for introducing me to them.
